סבי היה נגר. "זיגו" היה הכינוי שלו. הוא היה הלב הפועם של משפחתי ומלווה אותי בכל דרך שאני צועד בה.
גדלתי ברגבה, מושב שיתופי בצֿפון. תמיד נמשכתי למלאכת כפיים שמהווה עבורי מקום של ביטוי ויצירה. אחרי שנים כטבח, בחרתי ללכת בדרכם של סבי ואבי ולהתמסר למלאכת העץ. אני מאמין שאני חלק משרשרת של בעלי מלאכה, היוצרים מחומר גולמי חפצים ברי משמעות. את מירב הזמן אני מבלה בבית המלאכה שלי, נהנה ליצור ולחקור עץ על כל היביטיו.
Zigo is the name of my late grandfather who was always a great inspiration for me.
Born in a small town in northern Israel I was always drawn to working with my hands. After spending many years in professional kitchens I chose to join the path my grandfather and father took and became a woodworker. I believe that I am part of a chain of craftsmen that come together turning raw material into tools and everyday objects. Researching different themes and materials I never get tired of spending long days in my workshop based in Maale Hachamisha.
